We are independent--of large consulting firms, of insurance agents and brokers, of banks. Of everyone. This gives us the flexibility to think outside the box and to use tools and techniques that the others either can't or won't use.

The Fred R. White Risk Practice, LLC and its manager, Fred R. White Company, Inc., have served clients continuously since 1984.
Fred R. White, Principal
After 7 years' working for major insurance companies (mostly in commercial risk underwriting), Fred moved to risk consulting. He now has 46 years' experience in risk consulting--of which more than 41 in his own outfit.
Fred is proficient is risk financing and risk transfer (includng captives, self-insurance, specialty insurance, and capital market methods) and specialty actuarial analysis and financial analysis.

Our Approach
Our practice is project-focused rather than maintenance-focused. We solve particular problems or provide periodic services to our clients. That does not mean that we are not, or will not be, there if you need us for something special. We are.
We usually do not bill by the hour. Instead, we, in conjunction with you, determine how and to what extent the requested service will benefit you, the client, and then we charge either a fixed fee or a flat fee plus a performance bonus.
